Manchester City have been fined £300,000 and banned from signing academy players for two years after being found guilty of tapping up two young footballers.
There is no suggestion City acted likewise, though it has been found the club "contravened League rules" in the process of signing an 11-year-old midfielder signed from Everton and a 15-year-old midfielder from Wolves.
"Manchester City will pay a fine of £300,000 and will be prohibited from registering any academy players in the under-10 to under-18 age range who have been registered with a Premier League or EFL club in the preceding 18 months," a statement read.
